This has been a terrible experience. We have been coming to this dermatologist since January with our at time one year old granddaughter. Who we have permanent guardianship over. We were told after a biopsy she had eczema. And it was recommended she get Dupixent shots once a month. After requesting to see a pediatric dermatologist in the same office was told they would be prescribing the same thing. It is October we went to a pediatric dermatologist in Austel GA. In 10 minutes she was diagnosed with “Crusted Norwegian scabies” and has had it for almost a year. The worst case in a child they had ever seen. They took scrapes which were an easy quick test. Doctors words were “she has been tortured “ with this for so long. My husband and I had said at several appointments we were suffering as well with an itchy rash that kept us all from sleeping. To date just a week our grandchild is clear with in a week!!! Still have along ways to go. But we are hopeful. Dupixent must be giving a heck of a pay day. Our own dermatologist prescribed the same thing for our scabies as well. Please do your research!!! I would not be giving 1 star but was afraid this would not get out .

I recently had Mohs surgery on my forehead. They made it easy and were flexible on scheduling the appt. The front desk staff was super friendly when I walked in (I was a bit nervous). The Assistant that took me back was polite and friendly and briefed me on what was going to happen. Dr. Cleaver was extremely polite, quick and helped me understand what was about to happen. I was there for a while, but the waiting room was pretty comfy.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Woodson. She was kind thorough and professional. Her treatment of me was of a person, not an appointment. And, I appreciated that very much. My only complaint was about the time I was given for my appointment. I told to be there 30 minutes in advance. My appointment was at 9:00 am and I arrived at 8:30 only to be told that my appointment for for 9:30. I was impressed when the front desk personnel apologized as I left, and gave me clear information on when I should arrive for the next appointment. I am 69 and have been seeing Dermatologists since I was 19. With a first experience only, I look forward to working with Dr. W for years to come.

The last three visits, I have had to wait for about an hour and was only seen after going up to the desk to find out why I was waiting so long. My minor cysts removal went extremely quickly. I arrived a few minutes early and was checked in promptly. There were 2 folks ahead of me but the wait wasn’t long. I was ushered into the exam room, answered pertinent questions asked by the nurse and she proceeded to prepare the site. When she was done, the Dr came, explained what he was going to do, asked if I had questions and proceeding with the task at hand. Everything went smoothly, they verified I felt alright, gave me instructions for care and then went onto what I assume was their next appt. The nurse then cleaned the area up and applied a topical ointment to help healing and I scheduled my next appt for stitches removal. Very straight forward and smooth.

Interesting! I liked how she was very thorough and cautious with moles that concerned her. Exactly what I was looking for. However she talked a lot about eye and prostate exams and the importance. Also talked really fast about examining yourself, how frequent you need to and what to look for. In addition kept talking about a sun pill she takes daily or weekly or monthly…not sure. A not much for the first visit. But really like her and the fist bumps!!

I was very satisfied with the procedure performed on me except for pre-preparation around the wound area on my head. I feel it would have been better to shave the hair around the surgical area for the placement of the wound dressing and adhesive bandage after the surgery to avoid the pain and agony of hair pulling when the bandage was to be removed. The warm shower and soap didn't help as was recommended.

I'm pleased with this practice. I've only been 2 times, I didn't have to wait very long either time. Everyone was nice and I was treated with respect from the front desk (I didn't get her name but she was great) to the provider of service. I had a very good experience with Ms. Watson. She took her time and addressed my concerns. However, as I have gotten older and see more and more doctors, I would appreciate the notes of the visit to be available to me due to my poor memory. A lot was discussed about new non-steroidal creams and I became very confused on the discussion. In addition to this, I am hard of hearing so struggle to hear all that is discussed between myself, the nurse and Ms. Watson.
