Dr. Gardner graduated from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed a transitional internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, covering specialties like general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology, emergency room medicine, and dermatology. She went on to complete an internal medicine residency, also at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where she was awarded first prize for research in cardiac disease. She then did a second residency in dermatology at Emory, where she was chief resident. She published several papers and lectured on various dermatology issues during that time.

 

Dr. Gardner has been in private practice in the Atlanta area since 1991. She specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. In addition to being a medical reviewer for WebMD, Dr. Gardner is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of several societies and associations. These associations include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Florida Medical Association.
